I enrolled into a two year course, but after just 4 months, I couldn’t stand it any longer. The lecturers were bitter, the material was out-dated, and I was learning stuff that I had no interest in.

So I upped and left. I thought to myself enough was enough! I’m going to go out and get a job on my own! 2 months passed and I had made no effort to find a job nor did I care very much. I was smoking more, I was drinking more and I was earning nothing. Things were getting bad at home and my relationship with my family was non-existent.

After weighing up the situation, I decided it was time to start work. I had the thought that it would be easy to get a job as I’m good at typing and thought a nice office job would be ideal. I walked into a recruitment agency and told them my predicament. 2 days later I had an interview with a major corporation for an introductory office job. I remember at the time that I had a feeling I would get the job and that feeling turned out to be correct. Within just a couple of days, I had not only found a job but had got my first start date! My death sentence had begun.

At the time, I was quite happy to get this job as this took a lot of pressure off me from family members and it also helped to supply money for my smoking and drinking habits!

Then came my first day… I remember thinking, “yeah, I’ll stick this for a couple of months and then find something better”. 

4 and a half years passed and I was still working in the same building, doing the same meaningless job!!

I was stuck in a rut, doing the same old things day after day. I had no ambitions to do anything great nor did I have any passion to be anyone special. I would bitch about the same old people with the same old people. I had a set routine… wake up, get dressed, drive to work in the cold, work for hours on end, drive home, eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed… and on it went! Day after day!

I was living to die and not dieing to live!

If you’ve manifested something wanted or unwanted in your life before then you have unknowingly gone through the 3 step process of creation. In order to make the steps more deliberate we first must become aware of the process to determine what our work is.

• Step 1: You Must Ask

In every moment that you’re conscious, you are organizing data and determining whether it is wanted or unwanted. If you see something unwanted then you are asking for the latter. You cannot help but to ask for things all of the time.

When you see not enough money, you are automatically asking for more money. It helps to clearly define exactly what it is that you want by giving specifics, however you cannot help but to ask because the universe is setup in such a way that you will experience contrast which causes you to ask for more of what you want.

You have to let the universe know what you want by asking, but you are already doing this on autopilot with or without your knowledge of it happening. So this isn’t something you need to give much thought to (not until you get really good at manifesting!).

 

• Step 2: The Universe Answers

Every time you experience something unwanted you’ve just asked for the opposite of it. And you know what? The universe (or you could say the Law of Attraction) has heard your asking! Yes! It knows what you want.
